Principal Planner Jill Slankas, AICP, has over fifteen years of experience in working with both public and private sectors in environmental planning, watershed and nonpoint source management, grant writing, community engagement, and GIS. As an experienced project manager with superior communication skills, Jill assists clients with the development of comprehensive plans, environmental documents, and the implementation of best management practices for sustainable land use planning. Jill enjoys the multi-faceted nature of community planning and the collaborative efforts that lead to solutions aimed at creating a better future. Jill holds a bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from Marist College and a master’s degree in Watershed Management from the University of Arizona. Outside of work, Jill shares her love of science and sports by volunteering in her community. She is an active member of the STEAM Week committee at a local school and coaches youth basketball.
