Fiona Gain is a Community Planner at Barrett Planning Group, where she supports the development of plans grounded in social and environmental resiliency. Fiona has completed work on transit-oriented development and is developing skills related to zoning and municipal grants. She is particularly interested in how zoning can be used to accomplish urban design standards informed by existing conditions and community visioning. Fiona holds a Master’s degree in Urban and Environmental Policy and Planning from Tufts University, a Master’s degree in Energy Policy and Climate from Johns Hopkins University, and a Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science from the University of Florida. In her spare time, she enjoys exploring art-based hobbies, and perfecting croissants, a nod to her French heritage.
