Jean-Charles Zurawicki

Jean-Charles Zurawicki is a Community Planner at Barrett Planning Group, dedicated to making communities more equitable, vibrant, and resilient through planning. He believes the best plans are those that consider multiple perspectives, geographic scales, and timeframes. He brings a skill set in GIS mapping, quantitative and qualitative analysis, and graphic design to communicate community needs and opportunities in clear and accessible ways. His past background in project management enables him to organize effective planning processes and collaborate with public servants, community-based organizations, and other nonprofits. Jean-Charles’s current professional work primarily focuses on housing planning, supporting opportunities for towns and cities across New England to address housing affordability and supply challenges. His work includes developing Housing Production Plans, Master Plan chapters, and a regional food system plan. Jean-Charles has a foundation in planning through his Master of Urban Planning degree from McGill University, where he focused his studies on urban development and urban design through multiple planning studio projects. Outside of work, Jean-Charles enjoys drawing, watching movies, and cooking new recipes.
